Yoga – is a love-hate relationship….

Truly is more love than hate because I really do love yoga, I love how serene I feel after I finish a class and I love the somehow even if you thought about a bunch of nonsense throughout the class you still get little moments of pure bliss. I have been back and forward doing Bikram – which is hot yoga in a room with a temperature of 105°F or 41°C… Soo yup you sweat like a Motherlover in there and every drop is sooo damn good hahaha is actually a bit gross but once you get over that is natural human nature. On top of that you loose weight, makes you feel so much better body and mind wise, in general I love it, definitely completely suggest anyone who hasn’t tried it to go try it because only one class and you will feel the goodness… Though beware that yoga/hot yoga is no for everyone – for example Martha-my cousin went with me to yoga and she did not like at all, she is a Gym-rat therefore for her to wrap her mind around yoga is very difficult but I think if she would had kept going she may have like it just as much as me.

Bikram yoga is not easy but is not impossible, seriously you don’t have to even push yourself over the edge, if you at least show up to class you are more than halfway there. Because even showing up can be difficult for some people, it is hard to put ourselves out there, we may feel embarrassment, ashamed of our body, scared that we won’t know how to do the poses. But try, try your best to DELETE all that from your mind, there will always be beginners in everything, everyone in the class is going in the class most likely with a similar mind set –yes they may be amazing a doing some of the poses but hey you have no idea how long it took them to get there, so STOP judging yourself so harshly, just show up.

What I hate about yoga is that I am just like all the little humans–in a rush… In a rush to get the poses right therefore I get discourage a bit when I can’t get them. But this is also my fault because I go then stop going then go again and the cycle continuous… Is better to sign up for an amount of time that way you will be more likely to want to take advantage of the money you pay so you will push yourself harder to try to go as much as possible.

Okay now I’m rambling off so my advice is JUST SHOW UP!
